Flexible Solutions Receives EPA Registration Approval for Mosquito Control Product


VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Dec 6, 2005 –– FLEXIBLE SOLUTIONS INTERNATIONAL, INC. (AMEX: FSI, FRANKFURT: FXT) is the developer and manufacturer of cost-effective, environmentally safe, and biodegradable, patented water technologies. FSI’s water evaporation control products are used to reduce water loss in arid climates, reduce energy loss from public and private swimming pools and cause spreading of desired particles across water surfaces. The Company’’s bio-polymers are utilized in agricultural nutrient uptake, oil industry scale prevention and as suspension agents in the detergent industry. Today the Company announced it has received approval from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the registration of its mosquito control technology designated as WS-BTI.


WS-BTI has been approved by the EPA for commercial sale in the United States as of November 30, 2005. FSI will begin marketing and selling the product commercially in 2006. EPA approval applies only to registration of the product in the United States, however, EPA approval may expedite product registration and approval processes in other parts of the world.
Flexible Solutions wholly owned manufacturing facility in Peru, Illinois is registered with the EPA to manufacture the product, the equipment necessary to make the product on a commercial level is in place and trial manufacturing runs have proved efficiency without losing any product efficacy.

WS-BTI is a patent pending combination of Flexible Solutions’ patented evaporation reduction powder, WaterSavr, and BTI, an environmentally friendly mosquito control agent that has been in use for decades. The objective of the combination is to marry the surface active, self-spreading, biodegradable attributes of WS with the safe, highly effective mosquito control abilities of BTI.
